What we collect and why

The form asks for your email, company and job title. We record the resource requested, the request time and any campaign identifiers in the link you followed. We use this to provide the download, support your request and understand which resources are useful to which business roles. Details you enter are self-reported.

These three fields are required to use this download form; providing them is not a legal obligation. We rely on our legitimate interests in operating and improving this business-resource service. You can object to this use by contacting us.

Downloads and contact

Your download opens on this website. Submitting the form does not subscribe you to a newsletter or an automated sales sequence. There is no automated decision about your eligibility for a service. If you contact Mako for help afterwards, that conversation is handled separately.

Storage and service providers

Resource requests are stored in Mako’s Supabase database in the EU. They may also be copied to a private Google Sheet for Mako to review. Vercel hosts the website and processes requests, including network information needed to operate and protect it. Mako and these service providers can process the information for these purposes; we do not sell it.

Our providers may process information outside the EEA under their data-processing terms and applicable transfer safeguards. Their details are available in the Supabase privacy notice, Vercel privacy notice and Google privacy notice.

A short-lived, essential cookie enables your downloads for 24 hours. It contains no email, company or job title. We use a daily changing, hashed network identifier to limit repeated submissions, separately from your resource-request record. Old rate-limit records are cleared on subsequent requests. The site also uses Vercel Analytics for aggregated website usage; form-field values are not sent as analytics events.

Retention and your choices

We retain resource requests while needed to support requests and evaluate demand for these resources. We review records when a resource is withdrawn or those purposes no longer require the information, and delete records that are no longer needed. You can also ask us to delete your request.

You can ask to access, correct or delete your information, or object to or restrict its use. Data portability applies where the relevant conditions are met. Email the address above so we can handle your request. You can also raise a concern with Ireland’s Data Protection Commission.
